Miss Davis told commissioners the amplifier and associated tower climb and installation work will be covered by the emergency purchase. She said the damage occurred around March and the county has already mobilized the contractor to schedule a climb and replacement. When asked about turnaround time, Ms. Davis said crews typically complete this work in less than two weeks and the contractor will try to direct crews already operating in the area to reduce wait time.
The chairman called the voice vote, recorded no opposition, and the motion carried.
