A city presenter said staff have nearly finished collating maps, property records, photographs and reservoir committee files located across multiple storage locations — including an automations building, a private property and a city vault — and plan to finalize a digitization and storage plan in consultation with the public library.
The committee approved a one-year extension to allow staff to complete cataloging, produce scan-ready inventories and develop a long-term storage and access plan. Committee members recommended coordination with the city historical society and planning department on duplication of effort and public access once materials are digitized.
