Hamilton County approves $400,000 local match for Mercury Broadband agreement

County Attorney (presenter) told the board that Mercury Broadband “has since worked with OCCRA and the tech governor's office to be in compliance with everything they need to from a BED and next level grant requirements” and that the agreement before the board was substantially the same as the version previously described to commissioners.
The commission voted to adopt the agreement after a motion and second; the vote was recorded as in favor and the motion carried. The attorney said the document updates earlier, informal commitments and that nothing substantive had changed since prior briefings.
No additional conditions or amendments were recorded in the public discussion. Commissioners did not identify any changes to the $400,000 local match during the meeting.
