Trustees approved the engineering agreement on the consent agenda; the ordinance appears as item E in the consent list.
Darch said the upgrades will be a several‑year effort and that engineering plans are being advanced. No contract dollar amounts or a construction schedule were presented at the meeting; the board recorded the consent agenda omnibus approval by roll call.
Staff indicated the engineering work will advance final design and permitting steps for the multi‑year construction and rehabilitation of the treatment plant. Trustees did not debate the item separately at the meeting.
