The village requested a funding arrangement covering 75 percent of the camera upgrade costs with a 25 percent local match and was told, if awarded, the funds would need to be spent by May 2026.
Staff said the grant was submitted on short notice (a four‑day window), the application was completed within three days, and the village expected to learn the award status in the future. The committee did not take a formal vote on the vehicle or the grant application; members asked staff to update the committee if the grant is awarded and to return with formal cost estimates.
