The El Paso County Commissioner's Court on April 28 approved award of RFP 25004 for ADA paratransit eligibility assessment and quality assurance services to MTM Transit LLC (Lake St. Louis, Missouri).
Karen Davidson, the county purchasing agent, presented the item and said the procurement solicited more than 18 firms; MTM Transit was the highest scoring respondent. Purchasing reported funds are available in the operating budget (account described in the backup as SG, G start, AS 23 operating expenses). County staff were present to answer operational questions and the procurement record was attached to the backup.
After the presentation, Commissioner O'Guin moved to approve the award; Commissioner Coronado seconded the motion. The court opened the vote and the motion carried.
The award authorizes the county to enter a contract with MTM Transit LLC for paratransit eligibility assessments and associated quality assurance work; contract terms, price and execution steps were in the procurement backup and will be managed by county purchasing and the responsible operational department.
