At the April 29 Select Board meeting the board appointed Gregory Michael Szczepanski (who goes by Mike) to one of two open seats on the five‑member Capital Investment Planning Committee.
Mike Szczepanski introduced himself and described three years’ residency and a desire to serve on town committees. Select Board members referenced a written endorsement and invited him to be sworn in by the town clerk; board member Sam moved the appointment. The roll‑call vote recorded Marguerite aye; Al aye; Sam aye; Andrew aye; and Kathy Cook aye. The board noted the appointee should be sworn in with the town clerk and that the committee has immediate work on upcoming capital projects.
The board welcomed Szczepanski and encouraged him to meet committee chair and members and attend the May 10 capital-related meetings.
