Council member Poston thanked city staffer John Knutson for attending a neighborhood meeting and helping residents who had been “sent in circles” by various agencies; Poston said Knutson brought answers and ideas and that residents were “incredibly grateful.”
Council member Harris and others announced family-friendly events: a movie-in-the-park series at Tumbleweed Park starting May 2 with pre-show activities at 6:30 p.m. and films at 8 p.m., running May 2, May 9 and May 16; and a Golden Neighbors birthday celebration on May 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the City Hall Courtyard to mark the fourth year of that program and introduce older residents to city services.
