The Lake Havasu City Council voted 6-0 Tuesday to recommend that the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control approve a Series 12 restaurant liquor license for El Paraiso Family Mexican Restaurant at 1530 Palo Verde Boulevard South.
City staff told the council that all posting requirements had been met, fees paid and no objections were received. During the public hearing, the applicant confirmed the restaurant name, saying, "It is El Paraiso family Mexican restaurant." Council member Cameron Moses moved to recommend approval; a second was made on the floor. The motion carried 6 to 0.
The council record shows the application was in the council packet and that the location is properly zoned for a Series 12 license. The recommendation will be forwarded to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for final action.
