Adams County commissioners approved several routine financial items and entered an animal shelter report into the meeting record.
County staff presented Allied weekly health insurance claims totaling $62,088.20 and the May Allied monthly insurance cost of $72,002.15; accounts payable claims of $212,566.34 and payroll-related AP claims of $346,003.34 were also presented. Commissioners had no substantive objections and approved the claims by motion.
Staff also reported utilities payments and compared year-over-year figures; commissioners moved and approved the utility payments. A monthly animal-shelter report prepared by Mike and Cindy Aiser was submitted and a motion was made to enter it into the record; commissioners approved that action with brief remarks noting transfer numbers and partner shelters.
Ending: Financial approvals were recorded in the minutes and the animal-shelter report was entered into the record for the county files.
