Buckeye expands human services: meals for seniors, dementia supports and veterans programs

Gomez said the human services team averages about $1 million a year in direct assistance returned to residents through rent and utility aid and related programs and that the team provides roughly 250 referrals annually to nonprofit service organizations. “Our team is averaging a million dollars back out into the community of some sort of assistance every single year,” Gomez said.
