Goodyear City Council unanimously approved the consent agenda (items 3 through 7) at its Feb. 10 meeting.
The items approved by voice vote included: approval of minutes (item 3); a letter agreement with 29 SC Cotton MFR Property Owner LLC resolving certain infrastructure obligations and authorizing the city manager or designee to execute the agreement (item 4); budget amendments and related expenditure authority (item 5); an intergovernmental agreement between Surprise Fire Medical Department and the City of Goodyear for backup ambulance services (item 6); and adoption of Resolution No. 2025-2446 to ratify conditional approval authorizing submission of an application for the 2024 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Regional Grant Award to the Glendale Regional Fire Department on behalf of West Valley Cities, with authorization for the city manager to execute related documents and approve budget transfers if funds are awarded (item 7).
The council vote on the consent agenda was 7–0. No items were removed for separate discussion. The resolution explicitly authorizes the city manager to execute application documents and, if award funds are received, to make required budget transfers.
City officials did not discuss the items at length during the meeting; the council moved and approved the consent agenda by unanimous vote.
