The Mesa City Council unanimously approved the consent agenda, 7-0, enacting a package of routine items that included liquor license actions, construction and maintenance contracts, right‑of‑way resolutions and zoning introductions.
City staff recited the items on the consent agenda, noting liquor license applications for Taco El Paisa and a grab‑and‑go location; approval of preconstruction services and construction manager at risk for new sewer lines; a one‑year term contract with renewal options for landscape, sprinkler and irrigation supplies; and a cooperative contract for a computer engagement portal for the Department of Innovation and Technology.
The consent package also included resolutions to participate in bidding for natural gas pipeline capacity, right‑of‑way occupancy licenses for fiber‑optic cable work, vacations and extinguishments of certain easements to allow redevelopment, multiple zoning ordinance introductions, site plan modifications, and approval of a subdivision plat and a bingo application.
After the items were read, the council moved and seconded the consent motion and the roll call vote was recorded as 7-0 in favor.
