The district's representative to the joint authority, Mrs. Tucker (board designee), said the authority coordinates construction projects and leases and handles sublease coordination.
Board members asked whether Solanco could opt out and were told approval is a standard part of being a participating district; the representative said the district simply votes to approve because it is a member of IU 13. The resolution passed by voice vote.
