Henderson County Commissioners Court set a public hearing for May 20, 2025, at 9:10 a.m. to consider closing approximately 475 feet of County Road 3919 in Precinct 3.
Commissioners said the request came from Rick Davis, who bought property on both sides of the segment and asked to close the section of road that forms a loop entirely within his ownership so he may install a fence. The court noted the closure would not block access to other property owners and that the road segment has been rarely maintained.
Commissioner McCam moved to set the hearing and Commissioner Stibbe seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The public hearing will allow affected property owners and other stakeholders to present objections or support before the court makes a final determination.
