The county attorney’s office (Mr. Strong) reviewed the MOUs and approved them for distribution.
Commissioner McCann, a member of the radio committee, described the edits as minor and said approving them will allow grant‑funded radios to be programmed and distributed to fire departments that have been waiting. Court discussion also noted changes such as moving from quarterly to annual billing and updates to paging options and contact information.
The court approved the MOUs in form so they can be sent to system users for signature; once returned they will be signed by the sheriff and the judge. The motion passed unanimously.
