Other items and announcements
- Liquor license application: City received a liquor license application from Englefield Inc. for Newark Road (permit classes C1 and C2); council asked interested parties to contact the safety/service office.
- Public comment and events: Kathy Tate spoke in public comment urging the city to study downtown parking, pedestrian access and sidewalk repairs around Gay and Vine streets. Mayor Starr and other staff announced a spring cleanup at Ariel Foundation Park on May 3 and congratulated a local resident on athletic competition success.
