The council approved waivers of city fees for community events: Temporary Traffic Order 2025-58 for the Laconia Multicultural Festival (special-event fee $150 and a $10 licensing fee waived), the Parks and Recreation facility fee ($150) for the Laconia Kiwanis Club’s Bike and Board Safety Day, and a $150 facility fee waiver for the Laconia Historical and Museum Society event at Weirs Community Park Amphitheater. Each waiver passed on roll call with six affirmative votes.
The council also approved two appointments: Marjorie Wilkinson to serve as Ward 3 supervisor of the checklist for the remainder of a term expiring 12/31/2025, and Seth Wingate to the Colonial Theater Advisory Board. Both appointments passed on…
