Camdenton, Mo. — The Camdenton R-III School District Board of Education on April 29 certified the April 8 school board election results, administered oaths to two newly elected board members and elected officers during a short reorganizational meeting at the district administration office.
The actions formally set the board’s membership and leadership after a recount confirmed the earlier tally. A motion to certify the April 8 results carried despite two abstentions; the board then dissolved the outgoing board, sworn in the newly elected members, and elected a president, vice president, treasurer and secretary and approved routine appointments including the district board secretary and the Missouri School Boards' Association delegate.
