Pinal County supervisors approve proclamations, land sale steps, park grants and personnel actions in unanimous votes

The Pinal County Board of Supervisors on Jan. 8 approved a slate of resolutions, consent items and personnel actions during its regular meeting in Florence.

The board voted unanimously on a number of items the chair classified as routine or consent, and approved several substantive items after staff presentations. Key approvals included a proclamation recognizing Medical Legal Death Investigator Professionals Week; initiation of a public-sale process for a public-right-of-way near Sleepy Hollow Trail; two park-related grant actions (a Department of Forestry and Fire Management invasive-plant grant and an application to increase the county's Land and Water Conservation Fund request for Palo Verde Regional Park Phase 1); a special-use permit for a stealth wireless “monopine” at a Dollar Self Storage site; and salary adjustments in the county attorney's office that the board authorized above the midpoint of the applicable pay range.
