Trustee Hayes moved the motion and Trustee Aftaras seconded. Elementary trustees voted to award the contract, subject to successful contract negotiation; the board noted the district previously completed a related Porter project and secured full reimbursement from the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, which staff said they hope to replicate for Meadow Hill.
The motion authorizes administration to finalize terms with Northwest Mechanical and return a signed contract once negotiation is complete.
