Commissioners approve amended agenda and consent items; Crawford Building RFP pulled

The Rowan County Board of Commissioners approved an altered meeting agenda after removing an item authorizing a request for proposals for the Crawford Building.
At the start of the meeting, the chair announced one deletion: the RFP authorization for Crawford Building construction would be pulled from the agenda. "The 1 deletion we're gonna have is ... we were supposed to consider an RFP authorization for the Crawford Building construction, but we wanna pull that from the agenda at this point in time," the chair said.
A commissioner moved to approve the agenda as altered; another commissioner seconded, and the board approved the altered agenda with an "Aye" vote called aloud. The board then approved the consent agenda, which included minutes and several consent items, after a motion and second and a voice vote of "Aye." The minutes were reported as included in the consent agenda.
At the end of the meeting, a motion to adjourn was made by Mister Pierce and seconded; the board voted "Aye" and adjourned the session.
No roll-call tallies or named individual votes were recorded in the meeting transcript; approvals were recorded by voice vote with unanimous "Aye" responses called aloud.
