Hampton Township Council adopted Resolution 1112 on April 23 authorizing township staff to submit a grant application to the Small Sewer and Water Program for the Gord Head Run interceptor project.

The environmental services speaker said the manager and staff recommended adoption and asked for the council’s approval. The clerk provided the resolution number as 1112, and a council member moved and seconded the resolution.

The council adopted Resolution 1112 by roll call: Mr. Midgley, Mr. Scholey, Miss Blackburn, Miss Fritch and Dr. Johnson all voted in favor; no opposing votes or abstentions were recorded.

Staff indicated the motion authorizes submission of the grant application only; no contract award or funding confirmation was recorded at the meeting. The manager and environmental services staff will proceed with application submission per the adopted resolution.
