Engineer updates: Broadhead sewer, C20 separation, public‑works building and street paving schedule

Public Works Building: The public‑works building project is out to bid; bid opening was scheduled for May 15 and council will have 60 days after bid opening to accept a bid.
Steuben‑Linden intersection improvements: New signal poles and arms are being delivered and installed; two adjacent trees on Steuben will be removed prior to signal arm placement. Keenan said that the intersection work is expected to be done before the C20 sewer work reaches that point.
Road paving and brick restoration: Keenan reviewed the 2025 paving program and the Broadhead sewer-related paving sequence. He said milling occurred and final paving was scheduled for a late‑May date but that weather may require postponement. The engineer said social media notices and contractor resident notifications will be used to alert affected streets; council asked for advance notice so residents can move vehicles before paving.
People’s Gas and Liberty Fuel: Keenan reported paving restoration work related to gas main activity and said Liberty Fuel Supply will complete final restoration at 1967 Grafton Boulevard next week.
