Commissioners said they would like to consider the draft at a hearing so members not present at the meeting could review it; the commission delayed final action and voted to place the draft on a future public hearing agenda.
A commissioner noted that a hearing is appropriate because the commission typically has six members and tonight’s meeting had four present. The motion to send the draft guidelines to a hearing passed by voice vote; staff will schedule the hearing and issue public notice.
