Select Board approves liquor license for Deer Creek Farm & Bagels after public hearing

Madison, the applicant, told the board the business has begun offering evening classes such as cake decorating and tea parties and that adding a glass of wine would serve evening participants. "We have multiple TIP certified employees," Madison said, adding that the venue already offers food and has a lease for the property.
Town staff confirmed the application file was complete. "She meets all the criteria for facility; she will not need to make any changes," Holly (Town Administrator) said when asked about licensing compliance. The board noted the applicant provided the required lease and supporting documents.
After no one spoke in opposition, the board closed the public hearing and moved to a vote. A motion to approve the Deer Creek Farm & Bagels liquor license carried on a roll call vote recorded as four yes, zero no. Chair Timothy Toth said the license documents would be uploaded to the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC) portal and that the ABCC may contact the applicant.
The approval allows the business to include limited on‑premise sales of wine and malt as described in the application. The applicant thanked town staff and board members for the assistance in meeting licensing requirements.
