Board delays approval of financials after reconciliation upload error; staff says reconciliations complete through March

Trustee Dr. Paulette Thurman asked whether the board could vote that night; the president and staff agreed it should be deferred until the board had time to review the correct upload.
The board member who moved approval of the financials withdrew the motion; the consent agenda was approved excluding the financials item. District staff committed to reuploading the Excel file and delivering corrected access by the next morning, and to present a community-facing budget update at the next meeting.
No formal vote on the financials occurred at this meeting; the item was deferred for review once staff confirm the uploaded reconciliations and provide a presentation to the board and community.
