Commissioner Kathy Balicki moved to retain the 2024 officers for 2025: President Rob Kmetz, Vice President Lauren Behrens and Balicki as secretary; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The commission approved the minutes of the Dec. 19, 2024 meeting after a motion and a second, also by voice vote.
The commission opened a public comment period; no members of the public spoke. After reports and correspondence were handled (no reports were given), a motion to adjourn the April 23 meeting was made, seconded and approved. Rob Kmetz was noted absent at the start of the meeting in the roll call recorded in the transcript.
The meeting included an extended agenda item concerning the issuance of tax-increment revenue bonds for a Jewel Osco project; that item was discussed and resolved separately.
