The Hall County Planning Commission on April 21 approved a special‑use request to subdivide approximately 5.93 acres at Mackenzie Lane into six residential lots. Applicant Gary English told the commission the proposed lots range from 0.808 acres to 1.1776 acres; the commission approved staff recommendations numbered 1–5 and will forward its recommendation to the Hall County Board of Commissioners for final action on May 22.
English said the subdivision will include single‑family dwellings and no other structures. Staff recommended approval with five conditions; commissioners moved and seconded to approve the staff recommendations as written, and the motion passed 4–0.
The Board of Commissioners will consider the planning commission’s recommendation at its public hearing on Thursday, May 22 at 6 p.m. in the same room.
