BRIDGEPORT — The Bridgeport Borough Council approved three routine items by voice vote at its April 22 meeting: the March 25 meeting minutes, a service agreement with 118 Tech Consulting for information-technology services and the borough’s bills and salaries for April.
The council approved the March 25 minutes after a motion from Councilwoman Laura Hauck and a second from Councilwoman Megan Nolan. "All those in favor? Aye," the president called; the motion carried.
Council members then authorized the borough to execute a service agreement with 118 Tech Consulting for information-technology services after a motion moved and seconded; the council carried the item by the same voice-vote procedure. Later in the meeting the council approved the bills and salaries for April on a motion by Councilwoman Diane Gundrum and a second from Nolan; that motion also passed by voice vote.
The votes were taken by voice; the meeting record shows no roll-call tallies or recorded individual votes for these items. The council handled other routine business, elected an employee of the month for March and heard reports from the mayor and police chief during the meeting.
