The Missoula County Board of Commissioners voted to approve five rural impact grants totaling $15,200 at its administrative meeting. The contracts fund community events, an exhibit, playground equipment, building maintenance and youth programming in several rural Missoula County communities.
County staff said the awards are part of the countys 2025 Impact Grants program and are intended to support community projects that "enhance the quality of areas in the county." Thomas Clarabitic, who presented the items, described each contract during the meeting.
