Village hires Rob Kwiatkowski as DPW supervisor after closed-session review

The board then introduced the candidate briefly in open session before moving into closed session for discussion.
Following the closed session Trustee Bukolz moved to hire Rob Kwiatkowski as DPW supervisor; Trustee Sigler seconded. The motion passed on an aye vote. Village President Chad Niles read and clarified the candidate’s name for the record before the vote.
Mr. Kwiatkowski, introduced during the public portion as a DPW worker with roughly 13 years’ experience, said some administrative responsibilities would be new to him but he expressed willingness to take on the role. The board approved the hiring and the contract terms as discussed in closed session.
