David Watkins spoke for the owner, William S. Morris IV, and told commissioners the property’s roof structure cannot support full‑weight terracotta tiles, so the applicant is proposing a lightweight barrel tile to match the character of the neighboring house. Commissioners asked for visual spacing/installation examples; no members of the public spoke against the application.
Staff recommended approval subject to any conditions the commission deems appropriate; the motion to approve carried with all commissioners in favor.
