Lycoming County approves salary-board corrections, hires and telecommunicator promotions

On personnel actions, the commissioners approved conditional offers subject to background checks and other employment conditions: Tyler Fetterman (telecommunicator 2, 9-1-1 center, transfer effective April 27, 2025); Miranda Genious (resident supervisor, pre-release center, part time, anticipated start April 28, 2025); and Luke Young (correctional officer, full time, anticipated start April 28, 2025). An additional resource-management hire, Aaron Harmon, was listed but the transcript notes the individual later indicated they were no longer interested.
The board also authorized the addition of four telecommunicator 2 positions to the department's staffing table to accommodate promotions of four telecommunicator 1 staff who completed training; staff said the telecommunicator 1 vacancies will be filled in subsequent recruit cycles.
