Alex Wilson, attorney for the applicant groups, said both properties are existing two‑story buildings and that the operators already run a small assisted‑living house on Clay Street. Wilson told the board that the facilities would operate like homes, with three staff on duty per shift, four screened off‑street parking spaces each, daily meal and waste deliveries and quiet‑hours and visitor policies.
