Council approves PUD and preliminary plat for Tecumseh Road self-storage with added stormwater and landscaping conditions

The City Council unanimously adopted a Planned Unit Development (PUD) and approved a preliminary plat for Tecumseh Road Storage at 281 West Tecumseh Road on second and final reading April 22.
The applicant sought to re-designate the site from A-2 agricultural to PUD and to adjust the 2025 Land Use Plan consistent with a commercial designation and current urban service-area status. Gunnar Joyce, representing the applicant (Storage Oklahoma / WPM Properties), told council the developer substantially revised the site plan and PUD after neighborhood meetings to address drainage, sight lines and aesthetics.
