The Town of Babylon Town Board on April 23 closed a public hearing on a proposed amendment (Town Code chapter 213, zoning, article 16) related to tobacco and cannabis and reserved decision.
Supervisor Schaffer said there were no public comment cards for that hearing and a motion to close the hearing was made by Councilman Mineta and seconded by Councilman Martinez. The board voted to close the hearing and “decision is reserved,” the supervisor said.
No further testimony was recorded in the meeting minutes on that item; the town clerk will maintain the hearing record for the board’s later consideration.
