Fire, police projects seek funding: SCBA compressor, police locker renovation and additional motorcycle among top asks

Police staff also requested an additional motorcycle (an equipment-only ask) to allow the already-funded second motor officer position to be staffed. The motorcycle cost estimate was $46,120; the chief said traffic enforcement is the top citizen complaint and restoring two motor officers improves enforcement, event coverage and timeliness of traffic investigations.
