Erin Doran (Management & Budget director) told the board the CIP as published totals roughly $90.1 million for fiscal year 2026 projects; the figure includes debt obligations, grant-dependent projects and enterprise-fund work for utilities and solid waste. Doran said projects listed in blue are debt obligations and projects in green are new for fiscal 2026.
Several commissioners expressed concern that Port Citrus, a long-discussed seaport concept, appeared in the CIP with an initial local contribution listed.
