The Pacific Grove Unified School District Board of Education reconvened from closed session and reported the following actions: information was received on collective bargaining with PGTA (Pacific Grove Teachers Association) and CSEA for the 2024–25 cycle; and the board reported two items under public‑employee discipline, dismissal, release or leave complaints — for one of those items the board reported information only, and for the other it reported information and that direction was given.
At the start of the meeting trustees announced the session had been conducted pursuant to California Government Code 54953(b) to allow teleconferencing for a remote trustee. The board then adjourned to closed session and reconvened to report out the items specified by the Brown Act.
Why it matters: The report out follows the Brown Act requirement that the board disclose certain limited information after closed session. The item names were not discussed in public in detail; the board provided only the statutorily required summary (information received; for one matter direction given).
