County maintenance crews responded to address immediate hazards.
Commissioners also praised neighbors who directed traffic and assisted vulnerable residents while crews worked; county officials said Mon Power provided regular outage updates and a named Mon Power contact, Chrissy Michaels, communicated with county staff throughout the response.
