Council members said they appreciate the donors and plan to use the funds strategically. City staff reported $87,773.58 will be allocated to community outreach and crime prevention activities, and $27,857.78 will be directed to the Police K‑9 program.
Acceptance of the funds was included in the consent agenda and approved by the council as part of the consent vote.
