Selectboard seeks to move polling location to school building to ease traffic at community center

Selectman Brennan said the community center has become strained by lines and traffic during elections and that classrooms at the schools have remained closed on election days, so using a school building could provide better parking and reduce traffic congestion on Beau Center Road. The board instructed staff to draft a letter and begin discussions with school officials about which school (elementary, middle or high school) would best accommodate election logistics.
The motion to involve the school and move the polling location as appropriate passed unanimously.
