Council approves bank contract, FEMA mitigation plan, code cleanup and senior center agreement

North Ogden City Council members voted unanimously on several agenda items at their April 22 meeting, approving the continuation of banking services with Wells Fargo, adopting the Weber County Predisaster Mitigation Plan, approving an ordinance to correct references in Title 11 of the city code and authorizing an agreement allowing Weber Human Services to operate the Northview senior center. The council also approved the March 25, 2025 meeting minutes.

Why it matters: The votes preserve continuity of municipal services (banking and senior programming), enable eligibility for federal mitigation grant funds and correct technical errors in city land-use code. Together the actions affect city finances, emergency preparedness, and everyday operations.

The council approved a five-year contract to continue banking services with Wells Fargo that will guarantee current pricing through June 30, 2030.
