Staff said that, over the prior six weeks, Well 2 had a noticeable decrease in output; because the contractor would already be mobilized for Well 6, staff requested an additional scope for Well 2 to be done during the same mobilization to gain efficiency.
Aldermen asked whether the scope covered chemical treatment systems; staff clarified the proposals covered mechanical inspection and casing/hardware work only and did not include chemical systems such as fluoridation or chlorination.
The motion passed by roll call and the clerk recorded the vote as affirmative.
