During the meeting the board clarified that the motion should both approve the $300,000 award and waive the program guideline limiting maximum awards; the board then approved that combined action 5-0.
Public comment included expressions of long-term community support; the board recorded no special reporting conditions beyond standard grant processing. The applicant and staff will proceed to finalize grant documents and project schedules.
