Staff estimated the total project cost at $1,200,000 and recommended the full $200,000 available under program guidelines.
Danny Shapiro, identified on the record as Paradigm’s CEO, told the board the company currently employs 19 people, has 19 job postings that amount to 27 open positions, and said the company prioritizes local hiring. The applicant was present during the public-hearing portion and no public speakers were recorded. Board Member Charles moved approval; Board Member Esta Mayraven seconded. The motion carried 5-0.
Staff recommended using CRA business-attraction funds under existing program guidelines to support the tenant build-out; the board recorded no additional conditions at the meeting.
