He noted that an officer identified in the transcript as “Officer 4e” taught 195 students in a school outreach visit last week, and the department “appreciates him and what he does for our students here in Nixa,” according to Gamble.
On staffing, Gamble said the department currently has five openings and that officials will provide more information and announce a testing day in next week’s video update. He also urged drivers to pay attention to the road as the weather warms and to drive safely.
