Separately, staff described a vendor proposal for a mobile command center with a total cost that the city would not fully fund. Commissioners approved paying from county capital/emergency services funds and directed staff to document a reimbursement split with partner agencies by agreed percentages.
Sheriff’s Office and emergency services staff said the city had indicated it would not contribute cash but would provide in‑kind support such as moving fiber. Commissioners asked staff to calculate partner shares based on usage and slot counts and to return with a formal reimbursement schedule.
