Muskego approves agreement with Waterbug Ski Team for shows at Bridal Isle; committee corrected clerical errors

Council members noted clerical inconsistencies in the draft agreement that were corrected before the vote. The council removed language referring to “jump only” from the agreement after staff said state law does not permit singling out underwater structures in that way.
The agreement assigns responsibility for insurance to the Waterbug Ski Team. City speakers said the jump will remain anchored in the show location, as it was last year, after an adjacent private property owner objected to moving it previously. A council member asked whether the number of show and practice dates this year matched last year’s schedule; staff said they could not answer that from memory and that the dates in the packet reflected the team’s request.
The council approved the agreement by voice vote.
